I cant say exactly how because we have both different modems and provider but basicliy you need to acces into your modem though your web broser (Mozilla,fire,Fox IE or pera what you use) and then there should be somewhere a option on my mdoem it called ports but dont know if that also called in English ports but your Torrent has under prefecrences and conection or something like that a number it should be 4-5 numbers and that number you have to add in themodem, it looks like a IP adres just thatthere have also set a number most likely the list is blank so you had to made the port ypirself.

I dunno it deepends on the Torrwent you download if it has a lot Seeds then its rather fast but it also deepends ibn the Preferences wich i dont really know about but i donwload with 100-300 kbs sometimes more sometimes less
